Dr. Aldana

Lina Aldana, Psy.D. is a Licensed Psychologist in New Jersey (#5112) and New York (#022907).

Dr. Aldana earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University. She has trained in inpatient, college counseling, and community mental health settings with individuals experiencing numerous issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and perceptual difficulties.

EVALUATION

Dr. Aldana conducts psychological and forensic assessments with adults and adolescents. Dr. Aldana has conducted evaluations with forensic populations for a number of years and she offers services in the area of forensic mental health assessment, including but not limited to immigration evaluations, risk assessments (violence, suicide, sexual, firesetting), return-to-school, and fitness-for-duty (FFDEs).

BILINGUAL SERVICES (SPANISH)

Dr. Aldana is fluent in the Spanish language and she conducts therapy and assessments with Spanish-speaking clients. She also provides consultation services to mental health professionals and agencies as well as to legal professionals who are in need of such services from a bilingual psychologist.

La Dra. Aldana es una psicóloga licenciada en el Estado de Nueva Jersey. Tiene experiencia trabajando con personas que sufren de varios problemas psicologicos, incluyendo depresión, ansiedad, trauma, y dificultades con la percepción. Ha trabajado con pacientes hospitalizados, estudiantes de universidad, y clientes de centros de salud mental en la comunidad.

Ofrece servicios de consulta a profesionales de salud mental y a los profesionales del derecho, si necesitan los servicios de una psicóloga bilingüe. En particular, la Dra. Aldana realiza evaluaciones para casos de imigracion, capacidad mental, y riesgo de violencia.
